I like challenges, I really do. But when you want a full bridal party outfitted in leather dresses, maybe give me more than 2 months notice.

My hands are likely going to be an utter mess by December. On the other hand, I really like the ideas this bride has and her colour scheme. I just really hope I can get enough leather to work with.

At this rate I'll be renting an office space somewhere.

That's really where mine started, but they're a lot less bondage than you'd thing.

I think a bondage wedding would be a little too weird.

I'm sure there are people that'd do one

Probably not wearing a lot for those though.

Welp.

I should have turned safe search on for that google search.

I really hope you weren't in public anywhere for that one.

I'm very good at closing windows when I need to

That was probably a quick slam of the close window buttons.

Surprised it didn't get smacked right through the desk.

I'm picturing you trying to swat it off by shaking your hand constantly. It'd kind of amusing.

Hopefully not. We're going for a more fishtail style of dress with a corset top. Her wedding is December so the heat shouldn't be too bad either.

Hope so. We're going for blush leather too, which would've been anxiety inducing if I didn't already know a supplier with more than enough to work with.

What's the difference?

[info]demisword

It's softer, been treated different. Black leather would've been a stark look, but it's a little tougher to use, better for jackets and the like.

I find that really interesting. The leather I've been exposed to is the kind one wears when they spend a lot of time in the woods.

Yeah, so, they layer that differently and it's made for the purpose of being thick and strong, good for insulation. This one should be thinner, easier to shape and cooler.

Leather always feels warm to me, so that's probably why.

That's generally what it's for. It dates back to armour and thermals, so it's a pretty handy fabric.

And it looks rad.

I think it looks cool, even if my own style is decidedly more lace and velvet.

Neither. The bride just likes the feel and look of leather.

I've been to a horse themed one. Everyone wore something with horses.

Anything that involves a pumpkin carriage is inherently weird.

Cupcake theme where the bride wanted a cupcake wedding dress. You know, like those cartoon girls in Wreck it Ralph?

They weren't bad, just different.

I did. It wasn't hard, just a lot of layers, lace and decoration.
