Does anyone else just ever want to take their dream counterpart and shake some sense into them? I'm watching myself about to repeat the single greatest regret of my life, and it's so frustrating that there's nothing I can do to stop her. And what does that say about me that no matter what reality I'm living in, I'm still willing to sleep with my sister's boyfriend?

Yeah, my teenage years were over pretty quickly too, and then straight to my college years. But really the only differences to my real life was the city I grew up in and that some of the people were different.

I don't think this particular bad decision should be given any leeway though.

Huh. Yeah. Besides the best friend living with me part, the only real difference was the city we grew up in.

That's fair, there are definitely some decisions that probably don't get that much leeway.

I've already lived this life once, I don't need to go for a second round. If I dreamed of growing up in Huntington Beach again, maybe it would be a little too Groundhog Life.

I'm not looking forward to dealing with the fallout all over again, that's for sure.

Right? I mean, I'm currently still doing the barista thing in my dreams as opposed to the journalism thing but....younger me or whatever.
