So after waiting to see how the latest cliffhanger is resolved..... not only have we ended up in space because of yet another monolith, but we are now apparently in the future as well. Because of course we are, why not.

Yeah. I'm sure that will be our next conversation. How do we get back. There wasn't a second monolith when we arrived so it's not as if the way we showed up will work.

Even if you get back, that doesn't mean the timeline where Earth is destroyed ceases to exist. It just means there's now two timelines.

I'm well aware. It is entirely possible I've written random papers on the nature of time and if there is a loop or changing the past, how would you know if you do change the past, etc.

Can confirm, had a future me come back to stop a shitty future and then send her girlfriend back to our timeline to be safe. Our timeline was perfectly fine but we later discovered their timeline still existed.

And this wasn't the only time something like that happened.

God that life was messed up.
