My sister won't stop playing country music. COUNTRY MUSIC. She said there's something wrong with her phone, but I don't believe her. She's doing it to drive me crazy. Most if it is so irritating.

I don't mind the pop stuff as much. And the bluegrass? It's actually quite pretty. But whenever Alison Krauss and Union Station or Dixie Chicks or Shania Twain come on, she changes it back to the more misogynist "Bro Country" crap, and she won't listen when I tell her it's disturbing and degrading toward women. Maybe she's just doing it to piss me off. And it's seriously working.

I need to move out of this house more now than ever before.

Oh Austin is pretty weird. It's like a wonderful blot of REAL LIFE in the middle of an otherwise deeply red state. I'm lucky that if half of my family had to be Texan, that's where they live. Holidays would be so much more uncomfortable after I came out at thirteen, otherwise.

Yeeeeah, I can see how that might make things awkward. Good that your family is supportive. I know a lot of families are very... well, not.
