Did you know that in Miami you can be paid to be a python hunter? Burmese pythons. Met this dude in a bar who joined a government-paid team of 25 to hunt pythons since the area has kind of a snake problem.

That would have been good to know before honeymooning here, but aside from the snake jokes I could make, I'll just say it's actually been pretty awesome. Me and the new wife are pleasantly crispy and rehydrating with water and frozen daiquiris in the South Beach day-drinking scene.

Totally not worrying that we left our kids partly with a pirate. Souvenir requests are being taken as well.

Does a python count as a souvenir?

Maybe a dead one? How about a nice snakeskin bag?

I've always wanted my stuff to be held in dead reptilian skin. It's the dream.

Also, careful with a possible baby #3 on this marriage consummation trip.

Anything for you, Linabean.

Well, we already did the do a few times so there is no turning back. Marriage officially consummated.

May your bodies not be so fertile on this dream for, you know, reasons.

But I bet your view's damn nice without the lack of alien tech lying around. When are you guys coming back?

That would just be our luck. But no, should be good. No baby #3 for awhile.

It's gorgeous, the water is so damn blue. Probably next week? We don't want to be away from the crumb gobblers that long.

Phew, because your wifey might kill you.

Taking bets on Niko's first words will be 'arrrr matey' when you get him back.

I already died once, she wouldn't. And our kids need a dad. The odds are in my favor.

Oh, how great. Just what I always wanted for him.

Point taken, Nealbear.

Pirate's life might be for him, you never know. :p

Maybe. It was for me, for awhile.

Oh, yeah. That's right. Awkward step-dad moment? My extent of piracy was really just getting on their ship and robbing them.

They're basically the bandits of the sea.

Pirates rob other pirates all the time, just ask Killian. The line between pirates and bandits is pretty blurred.

Sounds about right. Usually the same hygiene practices, too.

Pirates, though, tend to find the better shit.

It's a skill. Comes with being super shady. But the shady skills can sure come in handy.

They find good treasure, I take the good treasure from them. It's a beautiful relationship I sorely miss.

I'm kind of amazed you haven't died. Stealing from pirates never tends to go well.

Sorcery. Not a lot of pirates study the practice of magic, just magical things to find and sell. Some are pretty crafty with their swords but most crews I've encountered are clumsy meatheads.

And, well. Drunk.

The only pirate crew I ever traveled with were former Naval officers, though I think many in history were like that. Crafty types, from all walks of life. You had the bumbling meatheads too but most crews wouldn't last long if they drunkenly steered their ships into rocks and shit.

Yep, historically anyway. Sea travel was limited to the Demon Sea all thanks to the bubble our continent was trapped under - rumors of your gnarlier crews existed outside it once the barrier came down.

I should also give a lot of credit to my own personal bumbling meathead there. That was a man who knew how to use a sword, god. I miss the sword practice.

That is some pretty awesome geography though. DEMON SEA.

You should get with Killian, I'm sure he wants a swordfighting partner who isn't Henry.

Yeeeep, even houses a demonlord all the way on the bottom. Rumor has it she's a little nuts.

Not a shabby idea. I'm rusty, and will probably embarrass myself.
