It's decidedly strange, when moving to a new place, when the list of things you should check out includes a network.

I expected the laundromats, the coffee houses, the entertainment shit. A network? Wasn't on my priority list until it was brought up, and then curiosity.

So what's the big deal?

At least it's not a communal yoga park.

Ah, the self importance thing? My life is so interesting that I need to share it with the world? That actually makes a little more sense.

Don't give them any bloody ideas. This is California.

That. And fear. Confusion, knee jerk reaction to share ones everything much like in the sense of taking a picture of your meals and showing the world. Because we care.

Not unhelpful for information, though.

True, land of yoga and hippy dippy self help.

Provided it's not just food pictures and 'Gary is having a great day' then it might not be an utter waste. Idiot do like to over share.

Oh the nonsense is in abundance. Frustrating to find anything remotely worth responding to much less a message intended for you. Once you get used to it the sorting becomes easier. Mostly.

Mostly? That's a ringing endorsement. It'll mostly get easy to navigate this land of idiocy and self-involvement. That's at least a plus.

It's no different than any other source on the internet. Save for this is more tight knit of a home owners association dealing with all we may experience in our lovely neck of the woods.

At the very least, I've never found it unhelpful.

I guess that means it gets bookmarked as potentially beneficial crazy talk for now then.

At least for work.

You some sort of PI?

It's worth entertainment with a bottle of tonic to see where things go most nights.

Something like that. Sure.

Well, at least there's something to amuse while the television sucks.

This stupid sods on this network aren't exactly trying to hide anything you'll have a ball with that.

It'll be a matter of filtering useful information from random nonsense then? At least I'm patient.

That's about the gist of it. You'll never get bored.
