I spoke to my mother for the first time on SKYPE in months. Once my illness began to really affect me physically, I stopped doing SKYPE calls with my parents because they didn't know I was sick. I hadn't been planning on doing any more SKYPE calls even now, I felt that she would know something was different about me, but I've recently come to realize that it's Will and Tessa who helped me hold on to some of my humanity in the dreams and they can do the same here.

As it turns out, the only thing my mother noticed that was different was the shock of white hair that I have now as a result of the transformation. I had thought about dying it like I'd been doing when my hair was all silver from the Yin Fen, but I sort of like it.
