Who the hell would have thought the way to have dad treat me with respect was to make him a grandfather? He and mom set up a trust fund/college account for the baby and he's actually excited that I'm partners in a nightclub with Damon and Enzo.

Either that or he's dying.

He's probably dying.

If daddy issues translates into hating an asshole who verbally and mentally abused my siblings and I ,and physically abused my half brother his whole life because my mom was a slut who spread her legs for another man? Then yes. I have daddy issues.

Fun story:

I was a Basketball star in college. Junior year, big game? I got injured and fractured my knee--bone sticking out and everything. I needed surgery and months of physical therapy. Bye bye basketball. My old man said I did it on purpose because I didn't want to apply myself and be a basketball star.

It was kinda a cycle. Freyja the oldest was daddies favorite and never got any shit. Ever. Finn didn't until he was older and went through some...issues after our family started to unravel with the truth about our half brother came out. Father was always picking on Nik, so Elijah, the third oldest tried to protect Nik, so he got shit. I tried to protect Nik because he's my best friend, so I got shit--and walked into a few blows. Anytime he'd start in on Rebekah our my baby brother Henrik, I'd be the one to act out to take the focus off them. I tried to make it all go on me. Nobody protected me Because better me than any of them.
