Well, we've been here a month now and we're all settled. I think it's safe to say that living in Orange County will be the most interesting chapter of my life, and, judging by all the posts, I'll soon become fairly acclimatized to this.

I've yet to decide if I'm looking forward to that moment or not.

More or less. My father is the king of a vast underground city, beneath an ancient forest that I would play in often. My mother is a demi-god, for lack of a better term. There are spirits, and then the Maia like her, the Valar who are more like gods of ancient myth, and finally the creator who had the Valar and Maiar sing the universe into being.

The elves were the first children who woke under the stars, and humans woke many millennia later when the sun first rose.

But there was one Valar who sung discord. He could be likened to Lucifer, and he wanted to mold the world into his own ideal. From him spread evil and hate. I helped retrieve a powerful artifact from him. It was ... quite the quest.
