Okay, these dreams have just officially ruined a childhood favourite for me.

Urgh. I hate jungles. I hate camping. I hate coconuts.

Screw it, I hate Neverland.

The coconut shadow trap is the one useful coconut. And we do get out, promise.

It's a mindfuck of a place though. I hate it too.

It's so oppressive and hot and ... I wake up in a sweat with my head all over the place.

Henry got confused why I hugged him for twenty minutes solid.

Where are you at, in the dreams? I take it you found me in the cage already.

Yeah, that's exactly why he doesn't need to begin dreaming. Because of Neverland.

I went to the worst Neverland. Where it's hell and I hate it and bleh! It's terrible.

Must be multiple dimensions because my Neverland is pretty awesome. I mean, there may be pirates, but the lagoon is great.

None of us recall that place with particular fondness. But don't worry, these dreams will continue to take an ungraceful crap on the rest of your childhood favorites.

Did Disney get everything wrong? Is it wishful thinking that... I don't know, the Genie of the lamp is just gonna break into some massive parade with animals and monkeys and just not be murderous or evil?

I don't know who got what wrong anymore. Someone wrote our stories, and our current mission is to find out who. 'Operation Mongoose,' Henry so fondly calls it.

Yeah, I think my recent bombarding has pushed me ahead of you. Which ... God it sucks there. I hate it.

You know when you think 'okay, I've gotten past all this', and then something just whacks you in the face and you realise you're just really good at lying to yourself? That's exactly what this is like.

It is one of the more horrible places I've been in the dreams, that's for sure.

Hopefully after this we'll get some downtime.

Although, you are in my dreams. Or, a version of you is.

I'd rather be in a mall than camping too. I'd probably even go to a department store on the weekend, and I hate those.

I think I might need a few dozen.

Well, my son was kidnapped and taken to Neverland by a magic bean that opens a portal, so we (Henry's whole family and a pirate) sailed into another portal to catch them. And now we're trapped on a horrible nightmare island with demon children and jungles and shadows trying to find my son.

And it's humid as hell.

Neverland is a nightmare island? Wow, that's backwards. And since when does a pirate help instead of try and kill you?

Christ, I hate that place. I think the only one who actually enjoys it is Peter.

Granted, there were some good moments. Calm moments, when he'd forgotten he's at war with me and I could stand on deck and look out over the ocean. Watch the lagoons change colours.

But those moments never lasted. Or maybe they did, time was always rather meaningless, in Neverland.
