If I could stop dreaming about my own death, that would be ideal.

I'm sorry you're dreaming about something like that.

Your sympathy is appreciated. I know I'm not alone in this, but it doesn't make it any easier.

I can't even imagine what it'd be like to dream that. I dreamt about my sleeping curse, but that's not exactly the same thing.

Never having been under a sleeping curse, I suppose I can't really say, can I?

I just dreamt about my own death. At least we know now that dying in our dreams doesn't mean we die in real life.

And thank god for that, as well. This is the second death I've dreamed of.

Or perhaps I didn't die the first time, but it did look like I was headed that way.

Stranger things have happened. I'm sorry to hear it's happened twice to you know, though.

I've read of so many people who dreamed about their own deaths, but it's still disconcerting, isn't it? We should start a support group.

And then I've spoken to someone who dreamed about my death, which is -- well. You can imagine.

There'd be a lot of people in that group.

I can. My friend dreams the same things. Or he did. I'm glad he didn't say anything about it and let me figure it out on my own, though. Better to have someone to talk about it with that understands it than not.

Poor Wendy had her dreams after mine, but I did keep quiet on most of the details. I think I was hoping she wouldn't have to see that, but alas I was wrong.

So is it better, then, do you think, to let someone experience it for themselves? Or would you have preferred some sort of warning?

I guess it depends. I'd think that if I knew, I'd spend my whole time wondering when I was going to dream it. I'd miss out on the things that made my dreams so great, you know?

I think that's fair. There were a lot of wonderous things in those dreams, especially for Wendy. It would have been a shame to rob her of those experiences.

I stepped through a veil between our world and the spirit world. It wasn't climactic or anything.

... well that's not one I've heard before, I'll admit.

I was eaten by a crocodile. Twice. The same one.

Goodness, James. I still can't believe you did that. I'm going to smash you in your wedding tackle one of these days.

I can make something while you look pretty, then. Any requests?

You truly frighten me at times, Miss Darling.

Nothing I'm particularly in the mood for, so I'll leave that up to you, I think.

Both crocodile related, which is really very tedious.

Dare I ask how you met your end? Or any of your ends?

You get eaten by a crocodile? I can't decide if that's awesome or lame.

My first death one of the dudes in my gang was turned into a ghoul by a psychotic angel and killed all of us, but I was resurrected and forgot the whole thing. My second death I got possessed by the same psychotic angel, killed my best friend and then was sliced open by a seven bladed sword, my third death I stabbed myself in the heart so the Messiah/Setsuna could absorb my powers and not get killed, my fourth death I used up all my astral power and blew off my arm trying to open the way from Hades to Earth so Setsuna could go home. Still waiting for death number five.

It's not like dwelling on shit helps any. Why be bothered if there's nothing you can do to change it? Sides, it ain't like you're dead here. Gives you a newfound appreciation for life or whatever.

At least dreaming your death didn't result in your death and resurrection in this world.

Unfortunately, I am. It's definitely a strange sensation to die and awake again. I'm just lucky that I did wake back up.
