I had to take advantage of it.

I'm a cop, so I've been on duty for several, and all the days just blend together. I can't manage to do the same thing on Christmas, but birthdays are easier to forget. Did you have plans?

Oh, Azula is the star child, star pupil, the twinkle in our father's eye, but the worst part is that she knows it. Except is it okay to pity her because she internalized the abuse while I rejected it?

My dad definitely likes my sister more, but she listens and wants to make him happy. I don't really care as much. My sister knows that too. Annoying, isn't it? Needless to say, I have happily moved away from family gatherings, and other things that may make us attempt to make nice.
