I heard someone mention this network, and felt a bit compelled to look it up. I think I found the right place?

In any case, my name is Lance. I just moved here to take a temporary teaching position at Creekside High School, so, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed it works out all right.

	I like the weather. I suspect most say that, though, don't they? There's a lot to keep a person busy. I find it's just a matter of keeping things interesting, which is a bit more difficult given that I teach English. But I manage. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	We do have really great weather. Keeping them entertained is s good plan. Good luck. :) I might possibly be a bit of a Shakespeare need myself. A lot of kids these days can't appreciate the stories properly. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

They don't really, it's unfortunate. My seniors are doing Othello this year, so we'll see how it goes.

I've always liked the old English side of things, myself. I know nobody enjoys it, but I'm over fond of the Canterbury Tales. Though at times I feel a bit like Don Quixote. I've read so many stories of gallant knights and chivalry that soon I'll go out and try to slay windmills.
