I need to find a realtor. Valarnet was very helpful with references for legal aid, I figured I'd try my luck here for a realtor as well. I'm looking to sell my current home, and then purchase something smaller. There are complications where the current home is co-owned with my soon-to-be-ex-wife. It might make for a bit more paperwork.

I consider myself fortunate. Before an official divorce took place, my previous wife got into an accident and passed away. Saved me a good bit of a headache.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I take it there were no children from your previous marriage.

It was marriage gone sour. Can't say I was particularly heartbroken, after it was all said and done.

And not that I know of no. I've never been the family man. And yourself?

I have one of each. My daughter is three years old and my son is four months.

I'm sure that complicates everything. Custody battle, and all. Just kill the bitch and leave the kids.

If you're looking to rent, I've recently come into available property rental.

Thankfully, the separation with my wife is amicable enough that we won't be struggling for custody.

I'm looking to purchase. Sell the joint-owned property and purchase something for myself.

I was referred to one myself. For the same reason. Here's what I was given by a friend. [Insert details.]

Thank you for the recommendation. Did you end up making use of the reference?

Anytime. Just paying it forward. In the process of using their office. Took a little time to get the place ready.

Understandable. I'll call them as soon as they open in the morning.

The sooner this unfortunate process is over, the better.

They've been very nice so far from what contact I've had.

I couldn't agree more. I'm ready for it to be over.

I'm certainly no stranger to stress.

It really is. Absurdly expensive. It's clearly more cost effective to never marry.

Is anyone?

Clearly. And not have children.

Though, I don't regret mine for an instant. It would simply be cheaper without them.

I suppose not.

That I can handle. It's the thousands for legal aid that kind of broke me.

That's a difficulty, I'm sure.

Thankfully, my wife and I are separating amicably. Most of the proceedings are running smoothly.

Family is important. I grew up without siblings, but watching my own children I can understand that bond.

Got some suggestions?

We need a source of blood for the new vampires. Ripping off hospitals and clinics isn't really a good thing. For a couple vampires, not a problem, but for more, that's a lot of bags.

I have a cup that fills on demand, or it might be easier to have a supply that at least mimics the real thing.

How close to human blood must it be?

This is something that I can accomplish. Quite easily, in fact.

I am, after all, both a Potions Master and a Pharmaceutical expert.

Pretty close. I'll sample and let you know.

I'll bring the cup. Whatever it fills with works. It's not quite the real thing, but it is like a tofu substitute.

You'll get another degree in vampirism soon.

That will work. There is another friend who wants to come along, or kind of a friend of a friend.

She's going to be the roommate of one of the soon-to-be-vampires, so she is getting organized.

Whoever thought that this would be an actual conversation - soon-to-be-vampires and synthetic blood. It's hard to believe that this is an actual thing still.

A friend of a friend?

It feels like something that would be discussed on True Blood, or one of those other, ridiculous television vampire dramas.

But that's life in Orange County lately.

She is a dream vampire slayer, living with a dream vampire.

Right. My dreams are a bad vampire soap opera. I think I would rather be Eric Northman right now. Can I volunteer for that?

It's insane.

I think her dream vampires are more of the Dracula type. She also has demons and things. I don't know.

I suppose going back to the time of no dreams, or at least normal stuff is not going to happen.

Yeah, but blood is a common thread. I have met one that could go without, which is crazy. I go for eight hours and I'm already needing food. My heart also pumps as long as blood is in my system.

I guess that would be true, and not all of them would care about helping or working with the vampires.

I can look into something synthetic, or magically replicated to help the vampires of Valarnet keep themselves from feeding on the public.

I do suppose I'm more selfless than most.

That is exactly it. I will bring the cup by. I'm not sure who charmed it, but you can probably replicate it with whatever synthetic you can come up with.

You are a good man.

Synthetic or magic. There's a possibility I can re-create the charm on the cup on other items--bottles, perhaps, or blood bags--and then there will be an endless supply. Better safe than sorry.

See you soon.

I do what I can.
