I take it back. The French Revolution can research itself.

God if only it worked like that. This studying thing would be so much easier.

I should've just picked the American Revolution for my final paper. The French Revolution is a mess. I mean, I kind of knew that when I picked it, but I didn't realize just how bad it really was.

Tifa, make the French revolt less chaotically for me. Threaten to ground them or something; they're not listening to me.

You do love a mess though Cloud, you'd have been so bored doing the American Revolution.

I'd try but it's older than me. I'm not sure it'll listen but I'll bring cookies home and see if I can bribe it.

I don't know. There are aspects of the American Revolution that I find pretty funny - the Americans' reactions to Von Steuben at Valley Forge, the immense frustration of the British generals in charge, Cornwallis' mistaken belief that South Carolina was actually under control... If nothing else proves that America is made up of a bunch of stubborn little shits, the American Revolution illustrates the point just fine.

What kind of cookies are you bringing home?

I'm not entirely sure saying that in a paper would have gone down too well though.

What kind do you want?

Probably not, but I know a few of my professors would still agree.

Brownie cookies. Or chocolate chip if brownie cookies aren't possible. But brownie cookies.

Oh no doubt they would.

Okay, I will search for brownie cookies

That's one of my favorite subjects! What are you researching it for?

My final term paper. It's interesting enough, honestly, but sorting it all out enough to make a coherent paper - and not a book - is a hassle.

There's definitely a lot of resources out there and that can lead to far more information than you need for one small paper...

How many pages is it supposed to be?

Between 5-10. I'm going to have to cut a lot out and do some summarizing. Hit the highlights, essentially.

And since France didn't get a stable, lasting government together again until well over 100 years later, I won't be covering that part all that much at all.

That is a lot of ground to cover, even with ten pages.

I'd suggest maybe focusing on one facet of it? A key player in the start or end, for instance, or the reasons that it started to begin with?

Oh, I'll figure it out. Like I said, it's just a lot to go through. Once I finish sorting through all of my preliminary notes I'm sure the whole thing will go smoothly enough.

But in the meantime, it's pissing me off.
