It's safe to say that I have not had a very good day. It started this morning when I got hit in the face by a rubber glove that a little boy was playing with while the doctor examined his dog. It stung, but it wasn't that bad. What was worse was when I got bit by a hamster after lunch. They warn you that hamster bites hurt, but you don't think from looking at one that it would hurt that much. I will tell you that a hamster bite is bloody horrendous. Literally and figuratively. I'm very much looking forward to going home tonight.

Bloody hell. Where do you work that you court hamster bites, a primary school?

I'm a vet tech actually. So, I wok at a veterinary clinic.

Ah. That does make more sense. Still, my sympathies; the closest I've had was a possum bite when I was a wee one. Five stitches and hellfire pain.

I couldn't imagine how awful a possum bite must be; especially as a child.

I can bring home pie to make you feel better. What flavor are you in the mood for? We have a great cherry one x

I think pie is a good idea. Cherry sounds good to me.

My wife's pet pig nipped me by accident once. It wasn't life threatening or debilitating, but it certainly wasn't comfortable.

I can't imagine a hamster bite was much fun, either. They have very big teeth for something so small.

I do hope you got the bite checked out, even if it wasn't that bad.

They're extremely sharp as well.

Ah, I've had worse and survived. It's healed up just fine. If it had gotten in the way of my piano or violin playing, I would have had it looked at, but it didn't, so I didn't bother.

I'm just happy my Aisha seems to get along with the little thing so well. She's a Siamese, and they can be so finicky. But she's quite taken to the pig, and hasn't tried to eat her yet, so I'm pleased.

My sister has a chinchilla. I don't think it's ever bit anyone though...

No, you don't hear about chinchilla bites very often.
