That was the most fucking brilliant thing I've ever done. I didn't lose my breakfast entirely, but I did retch quite a lot and I spit my lager back into the pint glass. Beans on toast didn't go down quite as well that morning.

Of course, I recall that I made you watch it with me, halfway through. Which was also brilliant, because I got to laugh-retch at the same time at the faces you were making.

THEN I showed it to everyone in the homicide department and laughed while most of them vomited in the rubbish bins.

Those were good times. Goooood times.

	I don't even know what the point of having curtains is. Gaffer taped flattened out packaging boxes and pillowcases work all the same. Fuck normal. It's better for permanent peepholes, because it's noticeable when curtains are being peeked through. Then the surveillance types are all, "Oh, did you see those curtains move?" "Of course I did." "Occupied. Let's go in with guns blazing." "Sounds utterly brilliant. Pint afterward?" "You're buying."

And yes, I've had that conversation before.

Besides, I'm onto you. You only wish I had one of those girlfriend type things, so that you'd think I didn't want in your knickers.
