Tonight, we're all dressed up for the annual Sixsmith Christmas party. Mum and Dad always tend to go overboard, but it's usually a good time. And this year I get to bring Robert, which will make everything even better. My family is so completely charmed by him, it's fantastic.

Charlie's coming too, of course, and he looks dashing.


Hopefully he'll get along with my mother's terrible little dog.

Well, the lights were just for the picture. And also because he kept trying to play with them while we were lighting the tree.

He oddly enough loved his sweater. I wasn't expect that.

He's very soft and fluffy, and completely a cuddly bundle of joy. I've always liked bigger dogs, but Charlie is precious.
