My OB didn't like the looks of my blood pressure. It's been high, but she said today that it spiked. She had me go to the hospital for an NST. BP was still high, but a little down afterwards, so she put me on bed rest.

I'll be stuck in my apartment on modified bed rest until the baby arrives. 5 weeks to go.

Is that typically what's done under those circumstances? And do you need any help?

I think so? I don't know. I've never been pregnant before. There's this thing called preecclampsia. Preclampsia? pre-eclampsia. Anyway, they don't want me to get it. It's a high blood pressure thing, I think.

I hadn't finished painting the nursery.
