I think I've had one of those dreams everyone talks about! It was quite strange, though. First I was in Victorian-era England, getting off a boat in... Southampton, I think it was? I was meant to be meeting my brother Nate there -- which is strange in itself because Nate is my cousin, not my brother -- but instead two women called the Dark Sisters picked me up.

Then the dream jumps forward six weeks, and it turns out I've been kidnapped. The Dark Sisters have my brother... somewhere, and they're forcing me to... change. Into other people. It's very strange, I don't think I can describe it very well. Apparently they were training me to use my power, and once they decided I was ready they wanted me to marry someone called the "Magister", whoever that is. I tried to flee, but I was caught. Then the dream ends.

I admit, I am curious as to where the dreams will take me next. I can't see how I could get out of that dreadful house alone, but no one in London even knew I existed, save for my brother and the Sisters. Is it normal to be interested in your dreams, rather than frightened by them? Most people whose posts I have seen have dreaded their dreams, but I welcome mine.

They may not be real while you're asleep, but sometimes aspects of them bleed over into the real world.

I've seen people make posts about that! Well, I'm not too worried. If that does end up being the case, the worst that will happen to me is I gain the ability to shapeshift. It could be much worse.

My eyes recently changed. They now resemble cat's eyes.

What, really? How do you mean?

As of last week, my eyes are yellow/green and my pupils are slitted like cat's eyes.

Like -- vertical pupils? Really? What are you in your dreams, then?

Exactly. It was quite a shock when I looked in the mirror that morning. I'm a Warlock in my dreams.

I can only imagine! I didn't have anything like that in my dreams, I was completely normal, other than the shapeshifting. I wonder what that makes me?

I'm sure it will all be explained with the more dreams you have.

I hope so, I'm quite intrigued! Do you mind telling me more about your dreams? Why does being a warlock mean you have cat eyes?

I don't mind at all. In the world my dreams take place, a Warlock is the product of a human and demon. Apparently a demon took on the form of my mother's husband seduced her. She became pregnant with me and it was clear from the beginning that I was not a normal child. My parents feared me and eventually it drove my mother to kill herself and my step father tried to drown me, but I inadvertently used my abilities to kill him.

Every Warlock has what is called a Warlock's Mark. They vary on every Warlock. For me it's my eyes and lack of a navel. In this world it's only my eyes that have changed so far.

Goodness, I suppose no one gets nice, normal dreams here, do they? That's very interesting, though, about your heritage. Do you know who your demon father is, or no?

No, it doesn't seem that way. I'm not sure what my boyfriend dreams about. He hasn't talked about the dreams. One really high up on the demon food chain.

Has he been dreaming at all? It might be nice to think some of us don't have to. I don't mind it, but I know others do.

How high up? If you were to assign your father a circle of Hell -- and I know Dante didn't assign demons to circles, but I've actually read the Inferno so that's what we'll go with -- which circle would it be?

I think he may have, but he doesn't talk about them if he has.

Somewhere between the eighth and ninth, I'd say.

Maybe they aren't too bad, then. It would be awful if he were keeping terrible dreams to himself. Burdens like that become easier when shared.

That high? Gracious. Do you know his name?
