So I finally joined the ranks of Dreamers. So far its not too different from my life, earlier time wise and instead of being a novel writer I'm a journalist with a famous father.

Strangest thing though was I kept hearing this music throughout, like it was a soundtrack or something. Bizarre.

Hang on, you got your own soundtrack?

Well it certainly seemed that way. It was beautiful music.

Well funnily enough its that piece of music we both know. Crazy right? Maybe its not really part of my dream its just playing on my mind.

Wait. The music? I hear it most in my dreams, too.

Oh my goodness, wouldn't it be fantastic if we have the same dreams? What are you dreams like?

Really? Oh wow.

That would be amazing! So far it's just been a normal childhood except my dad in the dreams is a renowned journalist who wrote about the Vietnam war. I write a gossip column however in a magazine called Spyglass.

Oh. Vietnam?

That's ... Well. My dreams are in the thirties. That's too bad, though. Weird that we dream the same music, though.

Yeah he was in the army then became a reporter during the Vietnam war. Pretty cool.

Ah mine are definitely 70's. That is a shame. Maybe I meet you when you are older, now that would be weird lol.

Maybe we've just heard it somewhere and it's leaking into our dreams?

No, no I'm sure that it's ... You're right. It's probably just some bleed over from reality into dreams, and not the other way around, for once.

If you do meet me, you must tell me!

It's a mystery and those are my forte so it's going to be fun finding out. I think I've trawled you tube for almost every classical piece around, the lesser known ones as we'd know if it was very famous but still come up with nothing.

Oh I will! You'll be the first to know!

It's just - I've been trying to figure it out as well. And I honestly can't remember it being stuck in my head before all this dream nonsense.

Maybe I'll ask Rufus if he has the same music in his head?

I knew the music before the dreams but not before moving to the OC. Actually I think it first got stuck in my head after speaking to you on the net when I first arrived, which seems odd.

That is a good idea, he shares your dreams right?

Strange indeed.

Yes, our dreams are intertwined. As much as they can be. We're lovers, but I'm off in Scotland and I write letters to him, and him to me. Most of my dreams are painfully Rufus-free. But yes. They're the same, so in theory - he'll know the music?

Oh that's incredibly romantic. But yes in theory I imagine he should know the music, it would at least go some way to proving whether it is or isn't part of the dreams.

My dad wrote about the Vietnam war and was a very respected journalist. I studied journalism and write for a tabloid type paper called Spyglass and it's around the late 70's. That's pretty much it so far.

Apart from this music which is beautiful but I have no idea where it's come from.

No magic in mine I'm afraid x
