To those I inadvertently offended:


To give one well known example: The multiple murderer Alton Coleman, who went on a three-state crime spree which included several murders, robberies and violent sexual assaults, was described as pansexual by law enforcement because he would have sex with anything - animals, children, etc - regardless of consent. This is how law enforcement use the word.

I have since become aware that there is a colloquial definition for the term, which does in retrospect make the police use of that word quite offensive. I can adapt my own usage, and will, when discussing the subject in a colloquial way. I had no intention of offending anyone, and regret that I did. I never try to be deliberately cruel.

This is why I prefer dogs.
