After his date with Jack, Ianto was feeling pretty good about things. Dinner had gone well, they'd had some great conversation, and there was definitely some chemistry going on. Maybe not fireworks just quite yet, but there was plenty of time for that to develop. He was quite sure there would be a second date. But he'd promised to let Zach know how things went, one way or the other, so here they were.

Ianto smiled, chewed his bottom lip, and smiled some more. He had to take a sip of tea, blowing softly across the surface and sipping slowly, before he could find his voice. He felt positively giddy. "I hope it works out," he said, "I really like him. And if it doesn't, I'm glad I took a chance, and I hope we part on mutually good terms. I like working with him, too."

He didn't know why, but had a feeling it could become an amazing partnership, if they took care to nurture it properly. "Is that what it was like for you and Tessa?"
