Dany was pretty shaken up after her meeting with Pete Wisdom and she was pissed. Dany wasn't always the best person to piss off since she held grudged til the end of time, but she wasn't so stupid as to go straight to Jack with her grievances. No, she still had Shepard to think about. She knew she could get to Shep if she needed to, but she couldn't do any of it on her own. She needed help, but she hadn't the slightest clue who to ask for it. The only thing there was to do was to try and get into that safe at Shepard's house and see if there were any clues there. Since Dany knew that Shep was out and would be out for a while yet she went straight to her house and went inside. There was a broken window so it was easy to get inside. What she hadn't been expecting, however, was to find someone else already there.

	She was an attractive female. Garrus had already assumed that part. Lowering the gun, he frowned. "Who did you hear she was missing from?" Because that didn't smell fishy. This woman wasn't Liara (a kettle of fish he'd have to deal with later), so how did she find out so quickly that Shepard had been missing? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Oh, now that was interesting. For that, the gun went back in the holster. Sure, it was very likely a set up. But he wasn't the slightest bit worried about whatever they threw at him. They'd be lucky if he finished them off with a gun. "And who would that be?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"No." Garrus went back to looking through the wreakage of the apartment. "Because frankly, whoever you work for kidnapped two of my friends tonight. And I'd rather give my regards to him personally, if it's all the same to you." There was something chilling in his voice when he said that for all the calm of his features. "Well, don't you want to know who?" Dany replied, following Garrus around the apartment. It didn't look like she was going to leave any time soon. "I came here to try and find someone to help me take him down. To get Shepard back."

She paused and tilted her head at Garrus. "I think I found him. That is, if you are who you say you are." She shrugged. "If you're not then I'm already dead."

Dany went into Shepard's room and dug around until she found the safe and then sat back on her bum and looked up at Garrus. "I want to know what's in there," she said. "Don't you?" "Touchy," Dany replied with an eye roll. Well, weren't they just making a nice team so far? She'd have to let Shepard know that her friends were all assholes.

"I think there might be something in there that will help us," she retorted. "And besides, if we don't take it the clean up crew will and then all of Shepard's information will be in the wrong hands. You wouldn't want that, would you?" She gave Garrus a glare and then went to work at picking the lock.

"Help me carry it then," Dany replied. She wasn't really trained in breaking locks or anything. Well, she had broken into a couple of safes in her time, but nothing quite as complex as that one. Luckily it was just the right amount of weight to it that two people could carry it, but one would have no luck. She leaned over it and positioned herself. "Come on, then." How Dany was the one calling the shots? Well, she didn't know. She was just too pissy to care at the moment.

	Garrus would have pointed out that it was because any time he tried, she ignored him, but more fighting wouldn't do any good. "You drive here?" He had parked his car halfway around the block, and it was one of his untraceable ones besides. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"You can't carry the weight by yourself," Dany replied stubbornly. "You go backwards, I'll go forward." She lifted as much weight as she could with her legs. 	Garrus just grunted, giving in to what was the more logical plan. He still had his doubts about the whole set up, and had the feeling that she'd been sent to get that safe. But he couldn't leave it for the FBI either, so right now, things had to continue how they were. Like it or not, they were in this together. For the moment. (Reply to this) (Parent)
