God, but it feels amazing to get out of the house for once. Hopefully tonight no one from work will track him down for any reason, but it's been known to happen on his rare nights off.

At least John seems quite different from people at work, which is a refreshing change. And it'll be nice to spend some time from someone from the motherland who isn't also in his office. So Q settles at the bar and orders himself a beer while he waits for his new friend to arrive. Or new hopefully friend, really.

And so, once he's managed the boy's trousers off completely, John leans back just enough to toe his shoes off and remove his own belt at the same time. It's a start. It's a start, but Q wants more than just a start. He wants to see all of John, and he's not always the most patient of people. Especially when it comes to fantastically handsome men who are not nearly naked enough.

So he pulls John up for a kiss and lets his hands wander down to undo John's trousers, slipping a hand inside to tease his fingers against him through his boxerbriefs.

He'd been getting there, next! No one likes the zipper stab, after all.

Still, this is much nicer, and John huffs out a little sound of approval - no matter really, that it's swallowed up between lips and tongues. Dipping his hips forward a little, John forces just a bit more friction before deciding that the time for slow teasing is definitely over and these bloody trousers and everything else have just got to go. He has just enough grace to make it not look like complete fumbling.

	Q laughs softly, not cruelly, and shimmies out of his boxers as well. "I believe this is where we shift to the bedroom, if you'd like to join me." 	The invite hardly need be responded to -- if John didn't want to join, he certainly wouldn't be naked just now. Instead, he follows -- a distance of a few feet back just so he can get a proper look at the younger man now that he's sans clothing. Slender blokes always do have the nicest asses, John notes. Well, he was staring. John doesn't look particularly guilty over it, instead tilting his head down that slight amount to give a proper kiss back -- the interested and deep sort that was without any bites.

"Rather flexible myself," he says once breathing seems like the thing all the cool kids are doing. It's funny, he assumed Q to be more of a bottom type -- but much like the rest of the evening, he's just pleasantly surprised at how well Q avoids cliches and stereotypes.

	Breathing is entirely overrated, but sadly necessary, and Q teases at John's lips with little nips and flicks of his tongue while they attempt to catch their breath. "I'm a bit of a bottom from the top sort, how does that suit you." While he does enjoy bottoming, he does like the control that being a top gives him. So why not the best of both worlds. John snorts out a little laugh over that, and shakes his head, but doesn't seem bothered by it at all. He settles his hand on the back of Q's neck, steals another kiss (because he's fond of kissing, if he has to be honest), and then grins lopsidedly. "Seems perfect, honest." They have a very strange amount of honest communication going on for the situation, but he doesn't mind that, either.

Q absolutely loves kissing, and John is a really incredible kisser, so it works out quite well, really. And the open communication, for Q, is ideal. He's too much of a control freak not to have things planned a step or two ahead. Not that he wants the entire experience planned, of course, but it's nice to have a general idea of where they're going.

He tugs John in the direction of the bed, wrapping around him and pulling him close once they're both horizontal, wanting to keep kissing him for a bit.

	Also fine for the moment - John's gone back to the kissing that includes teeth scraping against lips even as they wind up a weird tangle of long limbs. That's fun too, except for when his erection brushes against any number of places and he has to sigh a little into Q's mouth. He's a patient man, but not always so much. And while John's busy with that, Q works on leaving a few more nice, big, somewhat possessive marks across his collarbones and a few more nips here and there at his throat. "I'm plenty patient," John says, but it's clearly just a mirthful lie, since he snatches up the little bottle and squints at it for a tick. Not that it really matters what it is, only that it is.

It's very hard to concentrate when Q feels the need to make a complete mess of weals on his skin, but he's hardly going to complain about that since the younger man's too-red lips seem to know exactly what they're doing and it's a little hot in both meanings of the word.

No matter -- he's a master at this (self proclaimed, but still) - and so flips the lid of the lubricant open and finds that it pours out entirely more quickly than he thought it might. "Blimey," he mutters, because Q is biting at his neck and now he's gone and made his fingers entirely too slick. Oh well. Best put it to use then.

	He bites down a little more sharply than intended as John's finger enters him, slick and warm and he exhales through his teeth. He's half a mind to tease about how slick his fingers are, but he can't bring himself to care when he's finally getting what he needs, after so long going without. John isn't sure what 'exactly that' has to do with anything he's just said, but at this point he'd rather forgotten what he was saying anyway. It doesn't really matter. Q is warm, and tight even with entirely too much lube. He's going to delight in kissing him for a bit longer, swallowing those little sighs.

His goal though, is to make Q find some more of those whimpering noises from earlier, and so John is not against a bit of not-actual cheatery when he crooks his fingers just so in the younger man.

That motion is a bit like dirty pool all on its own (not that John has room to talk with phrasing like that) and he can't help but echo Q's moan over the proximity of it all. He dips a little closer yet -- as much as he can with his hand being both busy and in the way - and it's all a bit too much because it's just not enough.

"Fuck," he says, and it is both a statement of intent and a bit of a pleased sounding curse.

"Soon. Promise. Another?" He's pleased with himself for managing multisyllabic words in this situation, and it's all he can do not to simply throw all caution to the wind and take John then and there.

It'll be harder to kiss once he's on top of John, so he gets all the kissing he can in now, all breath and hot swipes of his tongue into John's mouth, tasting smoke and alcohol and desire.

"Mm," John says, and he's pretty sure he's agreeing - but not positive. In any case, he does as he's asked, slowly slipping a third finger into the brunet. Now he doesn't regret all that mess of lube at all. Happy accidents are the best kind, anyway. He likes how eager Q is -- likes the promise on his lips and the taste of him in general. "Okay," he mutters out between kisses, but can't for the life of him figure out why he's said it now that it's out there.

"God yes," he agrees, not sure what he's agreeing to other than everything as a whole. A general statement that this is really, really fantastic and he'd love to be able go on like this for hours, and maybe some day they will. But for the first time together, he's not certain either of them have the patience for it.

Carefully, he pushes John's hand away and shifts the other man onto his back. Then he gets an idea and a wicked sort of smirk crosses his face. He'd learned this trick a while back, and he might as well see if he can still do it. So Q unwraps the condom and slips it into his mouth and, with the very clever use of his tongue, rolls the condom onto John.

"Jesus bloody fuck," John says, and cursing comes so naturally he doesn't even really get points for things like finding words or enunciating. He's pretty sure he's been sleeping with the wrong kind of blokes in the past, because he's never seen or felt one do that before, all quirky talent and deviousness. It's impressive enough where he nearly wants to demand a re-do. Except even that seems like too much to wait for. Next time, he tells himself. Next time there will be a lot more of a lot of things. "C'mere, then." Because apparently he really is just an impatient thing.

Next time, absolutely. Next time he'll spend hours taking John apart with his mouth and his fingers until neither of them can stand it any longer. But right now he needs John, and he straddles his hips, bracing a hand against John's chest as he sinks down slowly onto him.

He doesn't stop until John's in him to the hilt and he pauses to catch his breath, eyes fluttering shut, lashes long and dark against his cheeks, lips parted. "Oh my, yes."

If John weren't so deliciously toe-curlingly distracted, he might have felt the need to point out that Q sounded ridiculously posh just now. Except, problematically, it sounded perfect just the way it'd come out. More distraction is not needed, and so he pushes that thought aside.

Instead, he tilts his head up with a look that he hopes is impressed and probably really is just stupid happy. His fingers have found a wonderful spot on Q's too-boney hips and it will come as a shock to no one at all when he digs his nails into the skin there later.

It takes a second -- to adjust -- to acclimate to the situation, but that doesn't stop him pressing his hips up just a little anyway.

John bites his own lip to avoid making any silly noises just so that he can properly hear Q's. This boy clearly knows what he's doing on a great many levels -- and those little whimpers are just one of them. The way he moves (but just doesn't, also) is another.

It doesn't stop John wanting more though. He's a bit greedy, but he also has it in his head to see Q more undone than all this -- there's something very appealing about the idea of seeing what he might be like where there are no plans in place. More, more, more. For now though, he mostly behaves himself -- digging half crescent moon shapes with his nails into Q's hip bone with one hand and using the overly slick fingers of his other to take hold of the younger man's erection (it's always the thin men, isn't it, with the most impressive bits?).
