I know all of you magic users have been waiting for this. By the way, if anyone can come up with a decent name, you'll get extra brownies at the first meeting. We've got a location (think 'underground wine cellar attached to a training dojo') and we're still working on construction but hey, why not get all the duckies in a row?

Speak up if you want to be attached to any of the following magic categories. You can go for more than one if you want. Eventually we'll probably have Heads of each Mini-Club but first I'll see who signs up where and then maybe let you duke it out in a vat of mud if there's more than one person vying for President of the Mini-Club.

Here's what we've got and some examples of each, no way is that the limit. It's just examples for better reference.

Abjuration (healing/protection)
Conjuration (summoning, teleportation, creation)
Divination (gaining information, magic sensing, extra perceptions, clairvoyance)
Enchantment (influencing people, mind reading, invocation, emotional manipulation)
Evocation (calling upon the forces of nature, animate/reanimation, energy manipulation, telekinesis)
Illusion (disappear/reappear, creating illusions that become real)
Necromancy (immortality, undead manipulation)
Potion Creation
Spell Casting (amplification of spells, mixing spells, spell negation)
Transmutation (transform living or non-living things, shapeshifting)

I am Luthien. It is hard to narrow down because they are so linked. My voice enchants when I sing, if I am not careful. It can be used as a weapon.

The healing and divination both come from the same source. The illusion weaving is...secondary. Perhaps not quite what your used to. I can make myself disappear from sight, or take on the form of another.

It is something I'm born with. My father was an elf, who have their own kinds of magics, and my mother was a Maiar. What most people would consider angels or demi-gods.

	Maybe since your voice is your main kinda trick, go with that? It sounds pretty enchanting to me. I've never met anyone with elf heritage. I mean, for real. That's neat. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	They are not elves. Though it is possible they may have been reincarnated. I have a theory that my world is this world's ancient past, long before the Pyramids. There are certain similarities, and several prophesies that described the world being made anew. I lived in the first age. This would be the seventh, perhaps. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

The main continent resembles Europe, Asia and Africa, including distribution of cultures. There's an Atlantaen type of event.

And music. You know how music can move your soul? How it is a universal language? The world was created on a song. The creator wrote the song, and the Valar sang it into being and that has carried over into this age. So too has the discord one of the singers introduced.

And I just feel it in my heart. Perhaps all these dreams people have are simply memories of other ages?
