I know all of you magic users have been waiting for this. By the way, if anyone can come up with a decent name, you'll get extra brownies at the first meeting. We've got a location (think 'underground wine cellar attached to a training dojo') and we're still working on construction but hey, why not get all the duckies in a row?

Speak up if you want to be attached to any of the following magic categories. You can go for more than one if you want. Eventually we'll probably have Heads of each Mini-Club but first I'll see who signs up where and then maybe let you duke it out in a vat of mud if there's more than one person vying for President of the Mini-Club.

Here's what we've got and some examples of each, no way is that the limit. It's just examples for better reference.

Abjuration (healing/protection)
Conjuration (summoning, teleportation, creation)
Divination (gaining information, magic sensing, extra perceptions, clairvoyance)
Enchantment (influencing people, mind reading, invocation, emotional manipulation)
Evocation (calling upon the forces of nature, animate/reanimation, energy manipulation, telekinesis)
Illusion (disappear/reappear, creating illusions that become real)
Necromancy (immortality, undead manipulation)
Potion Creation
Spell Casting (amplification of spells, mixing spells, spell negation)
Transmutation (transform living or non-living things, shapeshifting)

	As I learn them, they show up in the book. It's not even enough to just see them. I have to learn what they mean before I can use them. I'm not arguing, but it's weird how I have this knowledge. 	A little evil, huh? Well, that's not enough to scare me off. Magic isn't always butterflies and unicorn shit. It very well may be a little evil. It's a matter of balance. Maintaining that balance, as you learn. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I guess it's expected since it's called the Tome of Eternal Darkness, not Love and Sunshine. If I'm right about where the book came from... it's probably at least a little evil. I think that's why I was given the book. I think I'm supposed to fix the balance. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Pretty much. What I've read/dreamed, a long time ago someone became the servant of something called an Ancient One, and he's been trying to throw off the balance so his god could come out on top.
