Who: Sneaky McGee & whoever (yup, open log)
What: Summer Sidewalk Sale
Where: Sneaky's shop, London
When: Weekend!
Warnings: None yet, none likely, will update as needed.
Sneaky was whistling to himself as he set up baskets of gewgaws outside the shop with various signs in them, 'three for five', 'two for one' and 'name your price' seemed to be the most prominent. Muridae, the shop's Shadow was inside, sitting on the counter, just settled against the side of the antique cash register, cleaning a paw and keeping an eye on things.
Once he'd finished with the baskets, Sneaky propped the door open with a cast iron bacon press, just leaning against the doorjamb a moment to survey his work and the street beyond. |

When: Saturday morning/afternoon
Where: Sneaky's shop in London
Warnings: Not likely, but possible, will update if necessary.
Sneaky was whistling to himself as he set out baskets, the weather was finally clear enough that he could let the contents of the shop spill out into the street as he did sometimes, especially when it started getting warmer. The baskets were half-bushel baskets, one labeled 'gewgaws ~ 5 for £3' and the other was labeled 'thing-jiggies ~ 4 for £1'
Even with Lilo's recent help, the shop was still something of a nightmare, things were stacked haphazardly, organized only loosely and with no real sort of pattern, there was a baker's hutch full of dishes and plastic toys all arranged by color. There was what had once been a grade-school cubby shelf, each of the cubbies now holding an alternating pattern of vase or books, leaving it with quite an interesting checkerboard.
The whole shop was arranged that way, things put in just where they seemed to fit, and a person was likely to find either exactly what they were looking for, or exactly what they didn't know they needed. |

Why: Lilo's making sure she wants a job.
When: Wednesday night, sometime.
Warnings: not likely.
Lilo had said she'd be by sometime that night, which was just fine with Sneaky, since those were about the hours he kept 'sometime' to 'whenever', with a break from 'now' to 'then'.
At that particular moment he was whistling his near pitch-perfect whistle, Sondheim more than likely, probably from Into the Woods or A Funny Thing..., he was also moving things from a bushel basket into smaller handbaskets, each with a sign clipped to it with the prices, beanbags and other various small toys.
The 'open' sign was lit, and the door was unlocked, even despite the somewhat dim interior. |

Who: Cassidy Turner and Sneaky McGee
What: Gift shopping.
Where: Sneaky's shop, London
When: A couple days after the last log or something.
Warnings: None
It was a nice autumn afternoon in London, and as such, the youngest Turner, wearing his favorite hoodie and a pair of scuffed black jeans, was enjoying a post-construction walk around town. It was almost always one of his favorite things to do, especially when he was on a scavenger hunt for one shop in particular. A shop that was never in the same place twice.
Lucky for him, it was right where he needed to be. He had almost walked right past it before he realized he'd arrived at his destination. He beamed and stepped in, hearing the string of bells signal his entrance into the store. He looked around and smiled wide. It was exactly as he remembered it, yet completely different selection - as it always had been each time he found it. He walked to the counter and bent over it to look into the back room to see if Sneaky was in there first. "H'lo?" He called, standing up straight once more before looking in the case he'd just bent over. Ooh, watches! |

Where: Sneaky's shop in London
When: Sometime around now
Sneaky was, as usual, humming along with whatever happened to cross his mind, it was a nice day, and he was moving baskets of the usual antique shop detritus from inside to out, propping signs in each one that advertised 'everything in this basket 2£ or 3 for 5£!' and other signs that said 'take your pick' and 'mix & match!'
One of the smaller Shadows was helping by following in his wake and re-arranging the signs after he'd placed them, and occasionally moving things at random from one basket to another. |
