Who: Melpomene and Geoff Chaucer
Where: London
What: Picnicking?

Melpomene was late. It was a sad thing, really, to have instant travel be one of your skills and still never be able to be on time for anything, bu there it was, and here she was late again. She was,  in fact, still hopping into one of the platform boots she always wore as she appeared near Geoff, adjusting the boot one last time before looking up at him with a smile. From her free arm dangled a picnic basket which she immediately placed on the ground as she moved over to him, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Hello, my Poet." Beaming, she leaned her head in against his chest... She'd been sort of avoiding him, if she were honest with herself, and realized exactly how much she'd missed him.  She really needed to not let her brother get inside her head. Even if he was the reason she as late.

Tilting her head back to look up at him, she smiled. "I've missed your lovely self."

Who: Melpomene and Geoff Chaucer
What: Stories. And potential wooing. Mostly wooing.
Where: His place
When:Evening
Warnings: Only if the wooing goes well.

Melpomene was tired, and it wasn't simply because she hadn't slept in weeks. She was blessed with a family that was particularly skilled at getting on a girl's last nerve, and the last bit with Ares had been particularly exhausting.

She'd promised to come by once she was free, and she'd brought a peace offering in the form of Chinese, all piled lightly in a small cardboard box. She had stories to tell and, if lucky, maybe something else with which to wile away the hours. With a light bounce, she knocked on his door.

Who: Melpomene and Geoff Chaucer
What: Coffee and Poetry
Warnings: Possible swooning?

Melpomene had taken a bit longer than she planned choosing what to wear, although what she ended with looked like her typical outfit... skirt, long sleeve tee, babydoll tee on top of that, dark tights, platform boots. Coffee didn't require anything particular, which worked in her favor. And so she was a few minutes late, but figured he wouldn't mind terribly. She grabbed her coat, remembering it was cold in England, and with a thought she was on his doorstep ringing the bell.

Who: Melpomene and Geoff Chaucer
What: Orange Julius.
When: Nowish.
Warnings: Doubtful?

If the lines at the local Orange Julius weren't so annoyingly long, there was a possibility that she would have made her self-imposed 20 minute deadline. A slight one, sure, but it was possible. Still, she'd come up with a moderately suitable peace offering for her lateness in the form of Auntie Anne's pretzels, since mall food seemed to be the order of the day. She teleported herself rather easily to a spot not far from the address she was given and made her way to the door, pausing as she got there. Her hands were quite full, and she wasn't sure exactly how to... Giving up, she just kicked the door as lightly as she could, wincing a bit as she heard the thud of the platform boots against the wood... Oh well. At least it didn't make a mark?
