Sophie was outside the bathroom, crying a bit because her mommy was inside the bathroom, and she hadn't come out in a while. Of course Remy had told Sophie she was going to the bathroom and for her to sit in the other room and wait for her, but it'd been so long that Sophie didn't know what else to do but sit outside the bathroom and call her daddy to come and help. She'd been crying, and now she waited for Tony to show up. She hoped that he could help Mommy.

Damn it, Tony was freaking out as he headed upstairs from the lab as fast as he could. Who knew what was going on in that bathroom? Once he got up to the floor, he listened and heard Sophie crying just down the hall in front of one of the bathrooms. Picking her up, he cradled her against him, "Shh, it's alright. Daddy's here." Tony kissed her on her forehead and wiped her tears away with his thumbs. "Let's check on Mommy." His hand tried the door to see if it was locked, and peered in carefully to check on Remy.

When Sophie saw her daddy, she put her arms up so that he'd pick her up and she put her head down on his shoulder and pressed her face up against his neck, trying not to cry anymore. "Scared daddy.." she mumbled at him. The door wasn't locked, but there was something blocking it. In fact it was her feet blocking the door so it only opened up a little. But it was obvious that she was on the floor curled up on her side.

"I know, Sophie, I know. Daddy's scared, too," he said, the door bumping against something. Shit, this wasn't making him feel any better. He could see just inside of the room and saw Remy laying on the floor, which freaked him out more. He couldn't tell if she was passed out or injured. "Remy...Remy...can you hear me? It's Tony," and he still tried getting in, managing to nudge the door open enough to let him walk through. "Sophie, sit right here by the door so Daddy can help Mommy, okay?" He kissed her on the cheek, "I'll be right here. Be a big girl for me now." He put her down on her feet, patted her head and slipped into the room through the crack.

Sophie nodded at her Daddy, sitting on the floor again, though she was going to try her best to be big and brave like her daddy wanted. Remy didn't move much from the floor, though she did seem to stir a little bit. "Mm.." at least that meant she was breathing and she didn't seem to be hurt any. Well at least not her head. Slowly she stirred but hadn't opened her eyes yet.

Tony crouched down beside her and ran his fingers over her head, checking for a knot in case she'd hit her head. He didn't see any blood, thank God. Slipping his arms under her, he picked her upper half off the floor and pulled it into his lap, cradling her head softly. "Honey...honey, wake up, please," the plaintive sound of his voice trying to rouse her. The look of fear and worry on his face rivaled the panicked state inside.

	There didn't seem to be a knot on her head or any blood. When he picked her up, that's when her eyes fluttered open. She groaned a little, "Tony?" she blinked a little. What happened. He looked worried. "What's wrong?" apparently she didn't really get the gravity of the situation or what he was doing. Or what she was doing really. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Sophie said you came in here and you didn't come out. Our child was sitting outside crying when you didn't come back." He smoothed her hair back, lightly touching her face. "Did you get sick? Are you shaking again?" He still looked freaked out, but now that she was conscious and talking to him, it eased his mind a little.

Sophie toddled into the room and came over to Remy, her little chubby cheeks red and tear stained. "Mommy all better?" and hugged her neck.

She blinked a little, trying to remember. "I.. I got sick.. yeah..." that part she remembered. "I don't.. think so.." she shook her head slowly. "It was bad though.. I couldn't.. stop throwing up.." she put her hand on her stomach and that's when Sophie came in. She looked up at her daughter and put her arms around her.

"I think so.." she rubbed Sophie's back and frowned. "I'm sorry baby.. I didn't mean to make you cry.. I don't know what happened.." honestly she didn't really remember. "I didn't mean to leave you alone.."

"It's okay, Mommy. Mommy all better now," and she squeezed her as tight as her little arms could manage.

Tony had yet to let go of Remy fully, his hands now resting on her hips and his body moving behind her to act as a cushion. "Is it just the morning sickness or has it got to do with Huntington's? I'm taking you to the hospital. You shouldn't be passing out like that."

	Remy squeezed Sophie back tightly, running her hands through her hair. She looked over at Tony, "No.. not the hospital. I'm fine.. I think.. I think I might have just.. fallen asleep.. Tony frowned, "I wouldn't make you go to work like this. Give me some credit here, I'm not that much of an asshole." Crap. He always forgot about cursing in front of the kid. "We'll see if we can find something you can keep down, but first, let's get you in bed." He slowly helped her up from the floor, then gathered her up in his arms with little effort. Sophie stayed close to Tony, her hand holding onto his belt loop as he carried Remy from the bathroom to their bedroom.
