WHO: Apparently Everyone (Open Log, although if a parent wants to show up and bust their kid please clear it with the kid first. :D)
WHEN: Starting Friday Night, Party will last until Sunday-ish.
WHERE: Allerton Castle, Yorkshire
WARNINGS: Excessive alcohol and with that stupidity.

Thomas was partially relieved the party ended up in Allerton, which was still pretty far north but not in Northumberland, where it was apparently snowing something ridiculous. There were plenty of rooms and plenty of guests. Also foam. And sandcastles. And dear God, was that a horse wearing a top hat?

He clearly needed more to drink.

One arm was slung around Jenny's waist as they headed back towards the foam room. Sure, this was ridiculous, and there was likely no way his parents wouldn't find out, but still, they were young, and you only got to be this stupid once, right?

Oh, beer. You made everything make sense.

It took an awfully lot of alcohol to get a Time Lord drunk. Luckily, Jimmy was supplying the booze. As such, she was giggling and hanging onto Thomas. She liked the way his arm was around her waist. It was like when they went dancing, only they were moving in a direction toward something.

Toward foam!

"Ooh!" She grinned brightly. "Wait, why are there bubbles? Are we on--This is still Earth, right?"

Thomas couldn't help the laugh. It was a laugh, not a giggle. Men didn't giggle.

Okay, so it was a drunk laugh, veering into the territory of a giggle. Shut up.

"Last I checked. Your father would be extraordinarily cross with us if we threw a foam party in the TARDIS."

Jenny's eyes grew to the size of dinner plates. "Ooh, that would be so fun!" she squealed. "Imagine how huge it would be! And there's a swimming pool! And people could play drunk squash!"

"I've never been to a foam party before. What do we do?"

Somewhere in the back of his alcohol soaked mind, Thomas had the vaguest unease that he might catch hell for this later. But right now, there was foam.

Taking her hand with a grin, he pulled her towards the mess of suds. "Easy enough! Just dance!" Granted, considering how drunk he and most of his mates were, this was less dancing and more semi-synchronized flailing.

Jenny giggled, flipping some foam in Thomas' direction. It was a strange substance to wade through, and it was nearly up to her waist, now. "It's like snow, but not cold." She nearly lost her footing when she started to dance. "And slippy."

"Oh! What time is it?"

Thomas blinked, since he wasn't wearing a watch and it wasn't like there was anything to worry about time wise. He was almost positive it wasn't Sunday yet.

"Er..." he scanned the room, seeing an old clock on a far wall. "Half past ten?"

"Oh, okay!" She just wanted to make sure they hadn't missed midnight. She giggled, grabbing Thomas' shoulders and trying to jump on his back.

It probably wasn't the smartest move she'd made all weekend.

Thomas barely caught his balance in time. Really, he got damned lucky that his foot hit a bit of carpeting and kept him upright at all.

"Oof!"

Still, he did his best to give a piggy back ride. Under the circumstances, it wasn't that bad.

Jenny ran her foam-covered hands over Thomas' bare shoulders, still giggling. "You have pretty--" She'd meant to say 'shoulders', but she got distracted halfway though. Still, Thomas had a lot of pretty, so it worked. Instead of finishing her sentence, Jenny had decided she needed to take off her soapy t-shirt. She tightened her legs around his waist so that she could stay balanced while she used her arms to try and peel off her shirt. Hopefully Thomas could stay upright with all of her leaning back and wiggling around.

When she was done, she leaned against him again and draped her arms over his shoulders again, this time showing him the shirt she was now holding. "What should I do with this?"

Thinking.

Thinking was hard without beer and a half-naked woman riding piggyback. Thinking with beer and a half-naked woman riding piggyback was damned near impossible.

"I... er..."

He could not think of a single reply.

She shrugged and dropped the shirt, wrapping her arms tighter around him. She giggled, nuzzling his cheek. He was so pretty! "You're so pretty! I like your muscles."

"How long till midnight?"

You'd think a Time Lord could keep better track of that sort of thing.

Somehow when she called him pretty, he didn't take it weirdly. Usually pretty wasn't a moniker that got attached to boys.

Slipping a little on the foam, he adjusted her weight on his back and shrugged. "What happens at midnight?"

"A new year? Santa Claus? Turn into a pumpkin? I don't know, fun things always happen at midnight!" It was easily Jenny's favorite time of day. Or night, she supposed.

She spotted the clock on the wall and frowned when she saw it was only about ten minutes since the last time she'd asked what time it was. She wasn't really the patient sort. Having access to a ship that could travel through time and space didn't exactly help a person develop that particular virtue.

"Ooh! Ooh, hang on, excuse me," she said, trying to scramble and climb off of him in the least efficient and most unstable way possible. Instead of simply hopping down, she tried to straighten her arms from his shoulders, putting her feet on his waist and trying to stand up before kneeling on his back. Really, it made no sense.

It also, in spite of the excessive alcohol consumption, really bloody hurt. With a slightly unmanly squeak, he knelt down so she could hop down easily onto the floor.

He hoped.

Poor Thomas. Jenny didn't even realize she'd hurt him. She did hop down easily, though, just a little unsteady on her landing. "Stay right here," she instructed him before running off toward the wall. There were a few times she nearly slipped, but she managed to grab something--or someone--just before falling. Running in foam was not easy.

When she reached the wall, she grabbed onto the clock. Unfortunately, there was a clear case over the hands of the clock. She frowned, tapping on the glass. That complicated things. She had just been going to grab the hands, but they were out of reach. Stupid fancy clocks.

Then she remembered something! She reached into the pocket of her jeans and pulled out a small, silver tool. The sonic screwdriver her Dad had given her for Christmas. She hadn't completely mastered it yet, and she wasn't exactly in the best state, but she was sure she could pull this little thing off. She pointed at the clock and with a little whirr and flash of light, the hands of the clock circled to point straight up to midnight.

She hadn't actually changed Time itself--probably--but the clock was chiming, and that was exciting in itself. Jenny grinned brightly and started running back toward Thomas.

Thomas just looked... confused.

"You know it doesn't have to be midnight for us to kiss. I promise, we can kiss whenever you want." He was still grinning at least.

Jenny grinned, throwing all her weight against him as she slung her arms around his neck and kissed him. A lot of guys, she might have knocked over, but Thomas was solid. Jenny liked that.

She giggled. "I know.." They'd kissed at a few non-midnight times. "But midnight always makes me think of kissing you." Like how some people had special songs. Their song just happened to be a time. She kissed him again.

Thomas pulled back just enough to beam at her. So this was what falling in love felt like. It wasn't sudden, it was lots of little things.

And the beer wasn't even making him think that.

"Then I'm glad it's midnight." He kissed her back, ridiculously happy with virtually every part of life.

"Me too," Jenny said before more kissing. She had absolutely no intention of leaving this spot for the rest of the weekend. She'd completely forgotten about the foam, and the music, and the other people, and everything else.

Kissing was awesome.

The clock had finished chiming, but the hands weren't moving. It was going to stay midnight.
