Ezio was practicing boxing in the front yard of the house in Bolzano, enjoying the weather. Dani was somewhere upstairs, getting her things together after spending the night. It was a pleasant day overall, after a very pleasant night.

Dani had put her things into a bag and was brushing her hair as she got ready to go home. But that had been before she heard the scrabbling in the attic. She moved closer to the source of the sound, looking up and cocking her head. "Ezio? Do you have a torch?"
