Hermione was checking a few last things with the broom. She knew it would fly. She was 90% sure it would be reliable. She just didn't think it would get very fast and she didn't know if it would feel right. She had Dumbledore's help, but she did all the charms herself, and she didn't really fly. She had started on the broom as soon as Harry showed up, knowing he'd want a broom and there weren't any here. She was glad she finally told him so she could get help from him. He should be there any minute.

	Harry pushed the broom higher, noticing that she had clearly put some stabilization charms on it since there was no vibration at the high altitude. Of course she would.
