Ron knew the moment they had the fight that he had been an ass, he also knew that it was going to take a lot to make up for what he had said and how he had acted. Deciding that he needed to make things right he pondered just how to do that, he could be a romantic and write poetry, which no doubt Hermione would love, but that wasn't him and he didn't have the first clue on what to write so he decided to go more flashy and expensive since he actually had money now.
Knowing that he had always wanted to do this, at least over the last year anyway, he searched local jewelry shops finally finding one that had a ring that he liked. The second best part of this whole deal was that he didn't have to be ashamed of not having enough money anymore, it seemed that the wallet that was now in his pocket had every kind of credit card in it as well as quite a bit of actual cash.
After paying for the ring he then decided to take the advice of the giggling shop girl and also include a romantic dinner in on this deal. Being as he didn't cook at all Ron ordered a proper meal and then made his way back to the flat where Hermione was sure to be waiting with an angry face and possibly a need to smack him, of course he knew he deserved all of the things she had for him, but he hoped she would forgive him when she saw what he had planned.
To his shock, Hermione was in fact not at the flat, so he had time to arrange things just how he wanted and now it was just a waiting game. |
