Charles carried the last box into Jean's apartment at the school. She didn't have a lot of stuff, but was still a move. He sat down in a chair for a moment, taking a glass of water from Jean.

"Thanks. I hope this place will suite you." He looked around. It was a nice little apartment, but it was a bit small. Temporary until she found a place off campus.

	Relaxing slightly, Jean nodded. "I hope for the best for you. For both of you. You are one of the two most influential people of my life." She never counted the Phoenix as a person, plus she wasn't sure how much Charles understood of it. He'd never asked her, but then again the force was lying nearly dormant since she'd arrived. 	Jean smiled back, standing up. "I'm sure you have other things to catch up on. Really, thank you for the help today. And I'm sure I'll meet tons of people here." Admitting how crushingly lonely she was would only worry him, so she made a point of looking excited. She felt most days far too old to start a whole new life. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
