Charles hasn't been able to think. It wasn't exactly something he normally had a problem with, but he really had no idea what to do. Sadako hadn't said a word, but her implications had been clear and he couldn't just ignore them anymore. He just had no idea what to do about it.

Erik being around made everything worse. He didn't know if Erik had anything close to similar feelings and he highly doubted it. So he had to figure out what to do about all of this. So he had been pushing Erik away, at least until he could straighten things out in his head. Erik had mentioned coming over and Charles told him he had too many papers to grade and he couldn't handle distraction right now. Erik didn't sound too happy about it, but he didn't push it, luckily.

Charles set to actually grading the papers. It wasn't nearly as daunting a task as he'd pretending, but it did still need to be done.

	That was much better, actually, and far more stable, which meant that Erik could lean up into the kiss in turn, fingers settling against the nape of Charles' neck again, deepening the kiss after a moment, simply because he could. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Charles moaned into the kiss. He threaded his fingers into Erik's short hair, pulling just a little. Every now and then it would hit him that this was really happening and he'd kiss him harder. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Which was all well and good with Erik, at least until the need to breathe won out and he finally drew back, fingers kneading against Charles' nape once more. 	He shrugged then, shifting to fold one arm behind his head, the other still curled around Charles' waist, oddly reluctant to let go, still half-worried that this might all be some dream or hallucination or something other than reality, "I've slept worse places, I suppose." 	"It was ... unexpected." He replied, brow creasing, he'd been trying to come up with another word, but 'unexpected' was really what he meant, so there was no use trying to use something else, "Still not entirely sure I'm not dreaming." Charles shrugged. "Last week I hadn't even thought of doing this. Or at least, I hadn't let myself think of this. Like I said, Sadako made a few hints and finally I couldn't ignore them anymore. She knew from the first time I met her." Which was a little frightening that she knew before he did. He shook his head. "I'm glad you didn't push me away. Or punch me, which is what I thought you would probably do."

"Right, especially when you tell them it's fine for them to look into your mind whenever. I've done my best to not read you, I know you don't really like it." Laying on Erik was just starting to not be as comfortable as it was to start with. "Hm, maybe we should move to the living room. Might be a bit more comfortable." He wouldn't try to move until Erik let go of his waist.

	Mostly Erik didn't like the idea of what Charles might find there, things that he'd hidden even from himself after all these years. "Probably should." He agreed, though even still it was a long moment before he relaxed his hold, propping himself up on his elbows a moment later, smile emerging once more as he caught sight of the toppled chair.
