The house was actually empty for once - Dani was who knew where, and her parents had gone for a romantic weekend. Annie had the house - and more importantly, the kitchen - to herself. Jae-sun would be here soon, hopefully. Hopefully he hadn't forgotten. She hummed idly to herself as she kept an eye on her squid that was slowly pan-frying. She could leave the stove to get the door, if she had to.

Opening one eye, he shook his head. "You should make these for Father, he'll ask to marry you. Then I'll have to argue with him that he's not allowed to propose to the women I like."
