Who: Tachikoma and Guerrero
When: During this thread
Warnings: Maybe some cursing from Guerrero, that's about it.

They're bad guys! They're terrorists that blackmail people and hack into people's brains and kill them or sell brains on the black market and stuff. :(

There was one guy that wasn't bad though, I think....

Tachikoma was sitting on a park bench, trying to remember what happened to the Laughing Man. They'd thought he was just a normal bad guy, but he'd turned out to be a kid trying to expose a medical company that was lying to people and making people sick. Eventually, Section 9 had teamed up to help him. So not all hackers were bad. These were complicated things for her to ponder, but she was better at them than those silly androids. Their brains would probably explode, just thinking about it.

So Tachikoma was sitting there, looking deep in thought as she sent the reply to the website.

Tach quirked her head to the side. "But I don't have my camouflage net." Hadn't she just said that? Silly Guerrero. Wally could blend in without special technology, but he was special. He didn't even try. She didn't know how to do that.

"Yeah, you mentioned that." He said, "Which just means you'll have to do it the same way everybody else does."

He settled on the other end of the bench, Guerrero was one of those people who could make himself comfortable and at home just about anywhere, "Normally I'd say ditch the skates, but a town like this? Nobody's going to notice." He wasn't sure, really, why he was helping her, aside from the fact that he didn't have anything else to do.

She pouted a little at his pronouncement, but it only lasted a second. She was very cooperative, and a quick learner. As he sat down, she turned to angle herself so she was facing him. He had her undivided attention.

She nodded when he mentioned the skates. She had learned how to walk without them now, but she still preferred rolling to walking. "I can be pretty quiet on them," she said. Roller skating stealthily was an art.

He nodded, "Hardest part is the observation part, just have to case the place for a day or two if you've got time. Look like you belong, or something that's not too out of place, being a tourist always makes for good cover." He nodded towards a couple strolling along the riverwalk, "Those two? Definitely natives, just pretending not to be, probably to keep the actual tourists off, it's a good ploy, as far as it goes."

Tach frowned. "I don't get it," she said, looking at the couple. "How come those tourists over there are pretending to be natives?" she asked, pointing at another couple. If it was so great to look like a tourist, why would tourists try to look like natives? "Why's everybody pretending? Is it like a game?"

He tilted his head, studying the couple she'd pointed out before arching a brow at her, "You're good, I hadn't got them pegged yet. Huh." He shrugged then, "Might be they've been here before and don't want the natives to treat them different because they're tourists. So, yeah, I guess it is like a game."

Tach wrinkled her nose a little at all the complex explanations of the odd behaviors. Humans were silly! "Are there points, at least?" Something to make sense out things, and numbers usually did that quite nicely.

So, she had to scout out the area ahead of time. It seemed sort of like cheating, for hide-and-seek, but Walt did have the advantage already. "So I should bring a disguise!" That she could do.

"Sort of." He said, shrugging, "It's more like Capture the Flag or something, where you can't let the other team know what you're up to." Another shrug, "Espionage, you know."

"Oooh, espionage!" Tach said, her eyes widening in excitement. She liked anything that made her feel like she was taking part in something top secret, like her old job. Tach fell into a rich person's life, and didn't have to work. It was probably a good thing, since her transition to being human hadn't exactly been easy or quick. Her personality might make holding down a normal job somewhat difficult. But she really missed going on missions and being part of a team.

"I'm good at espionage!"
