She'd said she'd be there with bells on, and she was, she had a belly-dance belt over her skirt, tinkling faintly whenever she moved and jingling softly when she walked. She'd swept her hair back out of her face with a simple headscarf, though this apparently offended the fashion sense of the raven on her shoulder, since he'd pulled a few strands out from under it to drift across her temple.

It was mildly amusing to her that she seemed to be collecting rogues, not that this was anything new, it just was a source of continual amusement. She made one last sweep to make sure she had everything before heading outside to wait on the stoop, it was a nice evening for once and she was going to enjoy it.

He grinned and winked. "I've always been better wit' cards than with lottery, but Lady Luck's been known to switch sides."

The waitress smiled at them like they were childhood friends and sent them to a slightly quieter side of the building, where the tables were flanked by comfy padded chairs. Remy whistled at the menu and grinned wider. "I don't know where I'd start."

"I'd wager some wine wit' some staying power would hold up against de Cajun spices." He raised an eyebrow, asking her opinion before he went and ordered everything by himself like she had no say.
