Rating: PG? Pfft. It totally tanked into NC-17 in the end.

There was a bedroom that was just down the hall from Tony's main one that used to be an office of sorts. Now, the room's decor had changed into a small twin bed, toybox and various other accoutrements for a two-year-old girl. Sophie sat at a table, her tongue sticking out of the coner of her mouth as she tried to color inside of the lines in her coloring book. Her mannerisms, the way she concentrated on her drawing, was every bit of Tony's character.

Remy had gone through the house, trying to find Sophie's room, half wondering if there wouldn't be a new room where there hadn't been one before. But eventually she found the little girl's room, blinking a bit as it had been transformed with a blink of an eye. Not that she'd been in there in a while, but it was just new. Very new.

She peeked her head in, and saw.. her daughter. Even though she only saw the back of her head at first, she couldn't help but smile. Inside though she was freaking the hell out. She took a couple of steps closer and knelt down by the little girl at her table. "Hi honey.." she said, watching her. She really was just like Tony. That was amusing. "Whatcha coloring?"

It took a minute before Sophie responded. She waited until she had finished tracing along the edge of the boat with a red crayon. "I'm coloring a boat like Daddy's." She finished coloring the bottom half before she put down the crayon to pick up a black one. She turned and smiled at Remy, chubby cheeks and blue eyes looking her in the face. Anyone who saw her could tell she was definitely their child.

She was really really cute. At least they both had good genes, and like she figured the kid came out gorgeous. "Ooh it's very pretty.." she knew she couldn't explain to the poor kid that she didn't remember her. She was two. She wondered if that meant she'd be pregnant soon. Ah well, she'd figure that out later. For a couple of moments she just sat there and stared at her daughter.

And then she carefully reached out and pushed her hair back from her face and rubbed her back. "When you're done with that, do you wanna go find Daddy? I bet he'd be happy to see you." really she just wanted to see the look on his face.

"Yes! I want to see Daddy! He flies around like magic in his red and yellow mask. I like when he does that." She started coloring the last little bit on the boat, "My daddy is a stuperhero man." When she finished, she pushed the chair back, grabbed up her sippie cup of juice and held out her arms for Remy to pick her up and hold her. "Daddy is building. He said he was."

She grinned a little and then got up to her feet and scooped Sophia up into her arms. "Okay, then we'll go find Daddy. Yup, Daddy's a superhero. He saves lots and lots of people. And he's a good guy." she made sure the girl had a hold of her sippie cup and grinned. "I think you're gonna surprise Daddy.. he's not expecting us.. we should surprise him."

Since that meant he was down in his workshop, building, she was going to have to take them down there. She headed out of Sophie's room and walked through the mansion, heading down the elevator till they got to the basement. She knew that when they got down there, a camera would show them on screen and would announce their presence so they didn't scare the hell out of him.

Tony had been hard at work making a few modifications on a new suit he'd been designing lately. Having dealt with Apocalypse pushed him into trying to come up with a couple of gadgets he might need in the future. He'd been working on increasing the power of the repulsor beams in his gloves, tweaking it here and there. Right now, he had one on his arm with the wires connecting to the disc on his chest, and a screw driver in the other hand, twisting it on a spot near the middle of his forearm.

A sensor had gone off letting him know someone was in the proximity of the lab, so he walked over and saw Remy standing. With a child. Where the hell did she come from? He pressed a button to unlock the door while he started pulling he glove off and disconnecting the wires. "Please don't tell me you took up some charity case you found on the street."

When he let them in, she went inside, seeing Tony come towards them. Ah the look on his face. Fun times. She had half a mind to tell him yes, but then she couldn't. Sophie probably wouldn't understand, but well, that was okay. Maybe. "No.. I don't think they just drop off kids on the street.." she said, smirking slightly. "She was upstairs in her room.. and she.. posted on the ... message thing.. this is Sophie Hadley Stark.. your daughter.. and she's two.. and appeared out of nowhere.."

Sophie waved her little hand, grinning brightly, "Hi Daddy!" she seemed very happy to see him. Maybe she was a daddy's girl. That wouldn't surprise Remy in the slightest. "I told you weird things like this happen," she said, still smirking some.

His hand clenched way too fast and he almost yanked out one of the wires. Making sure to carefully settle the equipment down on the table, he backed away slowly, blinking as his hands waved. "Wait...wait...this is insane. My what?" He finally looked at the little girl and swallowed. She looked an awful lot like the two of them. "My...daughter?!"

Then Sophie tried to reach out for him, and instinctively, he reached out for her, taking her out of Remy's arms. "This sucks. Why couldn't we have one the old fashioned way? I think this cheapens I get to see my kid born. Although I get to skip you cussing me out and mood swings."

"Don't tell her this sucks.. you'd better hope she's too young to understand this. And actually I might be pregnant so you never know.. you might get to, so stop complaining in front of her. And I know you don't really want to go through mood swings and cussing you out. I do that already anyways.." she mumbled.

She shrugged, "She definitely likes you better. I must be the hardass."

"Holy Christ, Jesus, stop bitch--fu--argh!" He had to stop cussing in front of the kid. This was going to be a pain in the ass to get used to. A two year-old? What the hell was he going to do? "Or because all women love me, even my own kid." Inwardly, he was freaking out, but even Tony could put on a very cool facade. "So she just popped up here in the house?" Sophie started tapping on the glowing spot on Tony's chest, trying to curl her fingers around the piece through the shirt. "Whoa...whoa...don't touch that, Sophie."

She looked up at him with big blue eyes. "What's that? Daddy didn't glow." He looked at her, confused. What was that supposed to mean?

Remy just kind of looked at him as he started to curse and shook her head. Her eyes narrowed, "Yeah well they might all love you, but I'm the one who gave you a kid.. apparently." she nodded a bit. "Yeah.. all of a sudden I saw her on that message board thing and then I went to go find her. And now we're here. She's just like you.." lord she was going to have her hands full.

When she started to poke and prod at it, she just kind of shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe you got it taken out at...whatever year she comes from. Because I don't know what year she comes from. I dunno if she even knows."

"Yeah. Really dedicated, aren't you, sweetie?" he teased. He could see the resemblance easily, seeing as how she immediately started poking the first electronic thing she could get to. "Daddy's special toy, you can't play with that," he said as he switched her to his other arm. She laid her head against his shoulder and started drinking from her sippie cup as she looked between each parent. "Maybe, I don't know. I'm just as confused as you are. Wait, what do you mean just like me? Does she give you a hard time, too?"

"You were the one who thought we should have a kid, and now look we have one.. it's your fault.." she pointed a finger at him. At least he was being pretty good with her. "No.. she just.. well maybe, I don't know, but she was upstairs coloring, with her tongue sticking out just like you do when you're concentrating. And she's nosy. I don't think she's anything like me.."
