When she'd come to, she'd felt blood crusting around her nose which was most assuredly broken. Testing out her right arm, she whimpered in pain, clapping a hand over her mouth to cut off the noise. Teja had twisted her arm and the shoulder was most assuredly dislocated. When he'd thrown her into the wall, her nose had broken, and from the feeling of the gash on her forehead and the lost time, she'd been knocked out.

She knew he'd meant it. She'd finally pushed him too far with her words, and he'd hit her out of anger instead of lust. She'd known that the threat was there, that Teja was as much a killer as a good person deep inside. And she also knew that whatever good he'd had in him was forever lost to her. He didn't love her anymore. He didn't care that the baby was gone.

Stumbling to her feet, she managed to get outside despite her throbbing head and swimmy vision, taking the portkey to a place just outside of Stockholm. Lilo had only been there once, and she was glad that she still remembered where it was. Knocking on the door and leaning heavily against the frame with her good side, she was unaware of how her breath rasped, how she was still crying, how bloody her face was. She hoped Sindre was home; nobody else would understand her desire to not have them confront Teja, to just let the secret die. She wasn't with him, and it wouldn't ever happen again. She just wanted to get healed and go home and sleep for a month.

Sindre had been working on his current project for the past hour - stringing beads together in an intricate weave that, when finished, would be a choker. He'd been so absorbed in his work that it was a wonder that he'd heard the knock on the door, but when he did, he popped up, and walked around to the foyer, unlocking and opening it to see Lilo.

And his heart, which had been sky high since Dani had accepted his proposal to move in, sunk heavily at the sight. His eyes widened and filled with tears immediately as he gingerly and silently led Lilo in. He led her to the kitchen as he sniffled and wiped the back of his hand across his eyes. "take a seat on the chair," he murmured, motioning to a chair as he took a washcloth and used spell water to wet it. Crouching beside her, Sindre started to cast, and with his eyes still streaming tears, he healed her. "I'm glad you came to me. What on earth happened, Lilo?"

	Sindre smiled and walked her to the door. "I hope to see you again soon, Lilo. It's a pleasure to have you over, no matter the reason. If you ever need anything, just call me. I'm up at weird hours, and even if you get my voicemail, I'll call you straight away after I get the message." He kissed her cheek and opened the door for her. "See you soon." (Reply to this)
