Sindre's eyes went wide at the story, and shook his head, "That's awful, Lilo! Teja did this to you? I can't even imagine how that must... and he seemed so cheerful the other day when I went over there to meet with Torii. I'm sorry!" He squeezed her hand and shook his head once more, not caring about what else had to be said, it just couldn't compute to him that Teja hurt someone that he'd cared for, even a little. Teja was never the most rational person, but even this was beyond what Sindre had expected out of him. He never hurt family, and never hurt people he cared about.

This scared him more than he let on. "Oh heck, Lilo, please don't let his crap get in the way of your life and love! He's trifling. He's a bad egg. I know he mostly means well, but that doesn't mean he's very good at doing right. What he did to you is inexcusable, and scary, and you don't deserve to think that you are anything but a beautiful, lovable, tough lady. You can't let yourself fall for such a... a...
