Who: Rebecca House and Death!
What: Talkin'
Where: Her room in George's manor
When: Late Monday evening

She'd managed to get to her dad's place without any trouble. Luckily it wasn't that far away, and though the guards were reluctant to believe her, she finally showed enough ID to get in. After getting her two puppies, Jude and Pipsqueak, settled in with Biggles she lugged herself up the stairs and changed into her maternity pajamas. They weren't the prettiest things, but dark blue, flannel, warm and comfortable. She wasn't dressing to impress, especially since her husband in this time period was a teenager.

Settling back against the pillows she sighed rather contently and put in her ear bud headphones, listening to a band called 'Feeder' on her iPod. Relaxing, she rested her hands on her stomach and smiled a little as she felt her daughter kick.

Death walked down the long hallway and stopped in front of Becca's room. She was fortunate enough to not have to deal with guards or questions. Death came and went as she pleased.

It was interesting to see how time flowed, how Becca could be a girl one day and an expecting mother the next. Death knew this wouldn't last for long. Becca would return to normal. This universe bended the rules but things always went back. There was some sort of order here.

So with a smile on her face, she made her presence known. "Hey, you," she said, waving lightly and entering the room.

She didn't hear Death so much as sense the movement and presence of the other woman. Pulling out her ear buds, she opened her eyes and offered a little smile. "Hey, Di." Rebecca greeted easily as she shifted on the bed slightly. "Do try to ignore my outfit. It's fugly, but comfortable."

Death walked over to the bed, looking Becca up and down before taking a seat on the mattress beside her. "Oh shush," she said with a smile. "You look good." Becca's stomach poked out a bit and she had that glow. It was enough to put a very big smile on Death's face.

"Hey now, don't poke the baby bump. You get her all excited and it's my bladder that takes the toll." Rebecca teased with a grin as she rubbed her own stomach. "Silly little girl, kicking all around. I swear when she's old enough I'll enroll her in karate."

Death settled into her spot, laying beside Becca. She looked over at the woman. "I won't poke, but do you mind if I feel it?" It seemed polite to ask before reaching out.

"Oh, no, not at all. I did invite you over here to do just that." It was obvious the young woman was quite happy to have people feel her baby kick. She was...proud of it, really, and simply relaxed, closing her eyes. "She should get to feel her auntie Death anyway."

Death smiled and placed a hand over Rebecca's stomach. She felt the baby kick a few times and laughed. "I'll have a talk with her after she's born. She won't remember it. No one does."

"I know. But still. I like to think she knows there are people who are interested in her, even though she's still inside of me." It was just...that sort of connection Rebecca already had with the child. She'd tell her baby stories, sing softly as she rubbed her stomach...and all sorts of other things just to feel more connected to the child growing inside of her.

Death looked at Rebecca's stomach and leaned forward a little bit so that she was a little closer. "Hello," she said. The kicking continued. Turning her attention back to Becca, Death leaned back some. "What does it feel like?"

"Like an alien is trying to kick and tear it's way out of me." Rebecca replied rather cheerfully, smiling a bit at Death.

"Sounds like fun," Death said with a grin. She rested a hand on Rebecca's forearm. "You look happy. I'm glad."

"Oh yeah. It's a blast." The young woman replied dryly, though she kept smiling at the mention of being happy. "It's easy to look happy when you are."
