Alexa was wearing a short sundress and bouncing around the art show, curious about everything. Lorne was here somewhere, and they would be meeting up agai9n later, but for now, she was curious and wandering. They had decided to wander to this art show among others, during the spring set of them, and see what they could.

Alex was happy, because she had managed to find some really cool items, and had even bought one. She was wandering when she accidentally stepped on a cord running along, and stumbled, front first, into someone. She caught herself on his shoulders, and apologized.

"Excuse me! I am sooooo sorry! Are you okay? I stumble like that a lot. I totally didn't mean to intrude on your space."

She smiled widely at the strange man, around her age, it seemed, and bounced a little. In her dress, that was impressive.

	She smiled and bounced, grinning. "True. Sometimes, things are pretty crazy with politics. At least here there isn't a rabid anti-mutant president." She glanced around. "You like this place. The random hug surprised him, and he stiffened for a moment, before returning it. "It is fun. And I thought it might help me figure out where and what I want to be in life."

Her confusion made him pause for a minute. Maybe her universe didn't have a Godzilla. "Big dinosaur that destroys Tokyo every now and then. Had a lot of movies about him."

He shrugged at the last question. "Dunno. I drink with Scott, I guess."

"Heh. It's weird, knowing there's a female version of Charles Xavier somewhere." He shook his head. "But I'm glad you met someone. It's really hard to deal with the crazy without someone you can trust at your back."

He drank his soda, and tore off some more of his pretzel. "Lorna mentioned something about you guys being at the house during the Purifier thing. I should have remembered that. Sorry I didn't get to meet you then."

"She was nice, if very quiet. And she was so cool with her powers."

She bounced.

"Thank you! He is cool, and he makes me grinnnn."

She canted her head at him.

"I can't imagine being alone here."

She sighed, feeling a little down.

"No family in sight, sadly."

She glanced up, then nodded.

"Hey, you had... you had a lot to deal with."

She shivered and her eyes went flinty.

"And if I was fully trained, I would have been on one of those teams looking for you."

A growl was in her voice.

	Darius hugged her. "I'd be crazy without my girlfriend. And I'm sorry your family's not here. Despite all appearances, mine isn't either." Her words just made him feel worse. 	He let her snuggle him, and snuggled her back. "That's good. There's nothing worse than being worried about family." He looked around, and finally spotted someone with green hair. 	Lorne hid behind Alexa. "Scary!" He enjoyed teasing people, and didn't mind being teased in return. Beside, this gave him the chance to snuggle and rub against his girlfriend. 	Darius hugged Alexa back. It was good to have more friends. Lorne stuck out his hand to shake Darius's. "See you later. Don't do anything stupid." Darius snickered and shook the other boy's hand.
