Oookay. Bored was something Lucas often became during days when he had nothing to do but one would think, in an alternate universe, life would have been a bit less boring. Yet it wasn't and he found himself working dead ends; lots of dead ends, getting paid only the minimum and finding he had absolutely no friends. At all. So what was Lucas Douglas to do when he was lonely and bored? Stalk his favorite Dean of Medicine.

Well, maybe not 'stalk' but 'follow', at least. Stalking could be considered a crime, following not so much. So dressed in relatively casual clothes he walked into her London hospital. London was an interesting place and he found he greatly enjoyed the accents. Asking for Cuddy's office the nurse gave him a strange look, told him she wasn't in and yet pointed the way to her office. Thanking her he slipped on over and dropped onto a chair near the door, picking up a newspaper. He opened it and used it to hide his face, only barely peeking over it at the door.

"Its fine. We don't have to do anything." He shook his head. "Maybe it was a stupid suggestion. Its fine. I don't want...to make you feel obligated."

"I don't feel obligated, honest. I just don't think I can handle things, not at this moment. When I am.. I'll let you know," she smiled slightly.

"Okay." So that hadn't turned out quite like he'd wanted it to but...well, shit happened he supposed. All he could do was nod a bit an accept that, nibbling on a cookie.

Lisa sighed a bit. This was why she didn't do things like this anymore. She just couldn't. "I should get back to work."

"Yeah. People to save and all that. I'll bus your tray for you." He wasn't going to follow her out, in other words.

Lisa gave a small nod, "Thank you. I'll call you when I have that job.." then she turned and headed out.
