Ganieda had packed a small (very small) overnight bag and now was waiting for Sam to come and pick her up. She was waiting in the lobby of her apartment building, contemplating learning to drive as she waited.

Really, she should try. But then again, maybe she shouldn't. It was always so cozy getting into Sam's car and scooting over to kiss him before he drove them away.

She looked very cute as she watched for him and bounced on her toes.

He smiled softly at her, then eyed her.

"If you will open the small lock in front of you, there if a fold out box, with a small black box in there..."

And in that box was a ring, of pure silver, and with a small diamond.

He flicked on the radio as the clock struck a minute exactly, and his voice came over the radio.

"So, if this is going right, all is ready... Ganieda... will you marry me?"

And whoops and cheers went up in the background of the radio. The car stopped at a light and he turned to smile at her.

She held the box in her hands, just looking at the ring with her lips slightly parted.

And she heard his voice over the radio, and the question, and knew the answer. She couldn't see the stoplight, for her eyes had misted over.

But she did know the car had stopped, so she leaned over and threw her arms around him and kissed him. "Yes," she whispered, in between kisses, "yes!"

	He kissed her hard, then grinned and hugged her tight, before slowly easing away to drive, and bounce and smiled wider yet. "I love you, dear Ganieda, more than anything I know." 	He slid to his knees and took the box, taking out the ring as he took her hand. "With this ring, I pledge to thee to be betrothed, to you and only you, to marry you and to keep you in my heart for all time." He kissed her hand and then slid the ring onto it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
