Sable gave Soren clearer directions to where she'd be before signing off. He'd find her there, not near any houses, leaning against a tree dressed in the very fur for which she was named as snow falls slowly through the tall pines.

"Remind her more," Judah says quietly. "She needs it more than she will ever, ever show."

He drifts away as Sable returns, having taken care of all her customers. She pounces Soren in a tight hug. "You found dad? He said he's coming?"
