Darius sat back from the computer, rubbing his eyes. He had switched to his glasses for the night when he'd put up the post to Nate, and was eyeing his contacts a bit, before shrugging it off. Not like there was any call to impress his older brother.

He spread out on his bed, yawning a little. He was just going to rest his eyes until Nate called. No big deal.

He was asleep before his head hit the pillow, glasses pressed into the side of his head.

	A few minutes later, Darius's cell phone lit up, then a voice came from it. "Darius, it's Cable. Are you awake?" The voice was loud. Not 'break-your-eardrums' loud, or even 'wake-the-neighbors' loud, but the loud of a loud conversation in a small room. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	There was louder, more coherent grumbling. "You're still a bastard." But he was awake, and picked up his phone. "You have coffee, right?" Nate's coffee was famous, or rather, infamous. And Darius knew a thimbleful would keep him up until morning. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
