Ganieda is worried about school. Everyone said she shouldn't be, but she was still worried. She could fight of course, if she had to, but she didn't think that bow and arrow or spear could come into school with her, by all accounts. And she'd rather not use magic if she didn't have to.

She knew all sorts of things now, fires and light and shields; but still...magic wasn't fair, she didn't think.

As usual, when she is terribly worried, she has sought out Central Park again. After all, Mother was not home as usual and it was senseless to stay home alone. Here, where the trees grew and there was grass and at least a little quiet, Ganieda's jangled nerves could calm and her mind could clear.

	"Oh, aye, but I am more worried about the social aspects. You see, I have never been to school and do not know what to expect." She shrugs, a slight movement of her shoulders. Ganieda laughed a bit. "Well, I was taught by the ladies of the lake, but I and my brother were in a class by ourselves. I hope the school is good too. It is a religious school. I am not sure what that may entail, but I suppose keeping my eyes open and listening will help."

She looks down, shaking her head. "Two years. It seems like such a very long time." She smiles again. "Come, shall we walk?"

Oh, he definitely has some power. It is momentary, but Ganieda can sense it.

However, she says nothing about it.

"I wholeheartedly agree," she says. "I have my own beliefs and so now I must keep silent about them."

She keeps pace with him very easily. "It is a few city blocks from my house, though I will be taking a school bus. A large yellow motorized vehicle. They also have uniforms which I am not sure I like. The skirts are not long enough."

	She laughs again. "It is quite annoying," she says. "I would not want to say what I was wearing when I found myself in such a frightening place." It was quite indecent. "Well...I found a different version of my brother. Much older, and from a different time. But he has accepted me as such and is teaching me to control my magic. I am afraid I made my computer sentient because I could not control it when I arrived. Frightened as I was, the magic tried to help me as best it could."

She smiles. "Meeting new people is also nice. But I find that I do miss quite a lot about my home, as well. The solitude and quiet, mostly."
