Belle hummed as she looked through the racks, trying to find an item Jeanne had wanted in her size.

"So, how was your night out last night? Meet any cute guys?"

Belle smirked as she teased the other woman, handing her the article of clothign she'd wanted.

It was awesome to finally have a female friend.

He blushed and grinned at her.

"Well, my brain remembers you, even if my body has shifted, you are... always, arousing, Belle."

The proof of such was in his lap even now, though not very apparent, sadly.

"We have had enough sex recently that My body craves your touch."

Where this new ability to pour out feelings came from, he was not sure, but he knew it was partially her. Something drastic had changed in him these last few weeks.

"Was fairly easy, after the Guild's politics. Bought my way in, and everything after fell into place."

She blushed and smirked. "Well, it's the key to a happy marriage, after all. Open honest communication, and the willingness to try new thigns together. Keeps things fresh."

She looked a little dreamy. talking about Alex was one of her favorite things to do. "I'm so lucky, Julien. I don't know how I got a husband like him, but I'm not going to argue at all."

She shook her head. "I'm sorry too. Stupid guild. If it weren't for their goddamn traditions and their fucking war, I wouldn't have lost everything that was important to me."

But she wouldn't have met Alex, either.

She sighed. "I know things worked out better like this, but. . . seeing you again, and not crazy zombie you. . . it's wonderful, but at the same time, it brings back the memories of Dad's death, and how I felt right after that mess."

She shook her head. "But forget about it. I've got my own family now. My own life. And I'd never trade this one for that one, as much as I love you, cher."
